Cave Canem's Endowment Fund
In order to assure that Cave Canem can continue to offer opportunities to the next generation of talented African American poets, the Board of Directors established an Endowment Fund in 2000. A very generous gift of $25,000 from the Jenny McKean Moore Fund for Writers is the foundation for the fund. One of the board's goals in its three-year strategic plan is to build the fund to $100,000 over the next three years.
